Cultural heritage in the heart of North Zealand

Discover the architecture, interior and unique atmosphere of the Fredensborghusene at the Utzon Museum Fredensborg.

The unique courtyard houses designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon (1918-2008) have long been a magnet for architecture enthusiasts. The museum  aims to promote the unique history of the houses. You can experience a visual narrative about the architect, his philosophy and vision and, his understanding of the refined balance between community and privacy that is so characteristic of the houses. In other words, it is a living museum.

Please note: As of 1 April, we will be open on Tuesdays from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm instead of Thursdays.
